This review is late, as my birthday was in June, but I wanted to say that the duo mousse cake was beautifully decorated, and more importantly, tasted delicious. I think this cake is the perfect compromise for chocolate lovers and vanilla lovers. The mousse is creamy and rich, and the cake is light and fluffy. There is definitely an almond extract flavor (which I liked, but my husband didn't). The price was about $35 for a six-inch cake, which is not any more expensive than other bakeries in the area. Anyway, I think your birthday is the perfect time to treat yourself! Ordering and pickup was super easy as well. I will get a birthday cake from here again!

Andre's takes you to Switzerland in warm fresh way. Service is warm and caring and friendly. The Prix Fixe Meal was amazingly delicious. He had Vol au Vent chicken and mushroom white wine cream sauce in a puff pastry, carrot salad snd spinach salad without bacon plus coffee and dessert to follow. Also ordered a hot chocolate and both the coffee and hot chocolate came with one of the silver heart chocolates Andre's creates

I could give this place 5 stars, as their product is very good tasting and looks really nice. So why 4 stars?: - Nothing is labeled in the case, as to what things are. So, you have ask the staff, slowing everything down. This place is busy - and they could spore things up, simply by having things labeled. No pricing, which could be helpful too...and save the staff time on something which is a base customer need: What stuff is and how much it is. - Staff inconsistent in politeness. Today, the staff was quite pleasant and attentive. But a few weeks ago, the staff acted very stand offish, inattentive, and so put out once they helped you. But hey, no mistake about it, the petit fours and chocolates....their product is quite good!

The Swiss embassy is directly above this place, so obviously the food here is inspired. The chocolates were just amazing, as was the desert. The food was very good, although it's not my typical fare. The choices are fairly limited, and typically reflect a daily special. I was in town to catch up with an old friend and she chose this place as she enjoys the food but it's also relatively quiet and they were happy to let us occupy a table for several hours long after we were done eating. The manager kept coming over to ensure we didn't need any refills on our drinks any anything else to snack on but made it clear we were more than welcome to linger as long as we wanted. I think they knew my friend which didn't hurt, but I was still impressed by the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Always a delight here at Andre's. It's been a great while since I've been here but other than some new pictures, the Menu remains consistent. Why change a good thing, is what I say. Jane, our waitress was wonderful. We both enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine with a spinach salad, sliced tomatoes and lentil soup. So tasty and a great portion of all items. Our lunch included dessert and coffee, tea as well and just a wonderful selection of sweets to choose from. The lively atmosphere made our visit here so memorable and Jane was a special one, truly delightful. I can't wait to return.

Andre's is still my favorite place in town to have lunch, but they may have been a little short-staffed today, so the service was definitely slow. And it's still always the best place for amazing chocolates, tortes, and Andre's inimitable specialty bakery items. And, as always, the food at lunch was fabulous. The beef pot pie in puff pastry was outstanding. I chose the delicious green pea soup and tomato zucchini casserole as sides. Yop I'm still very disappointed that Covid resulted in the the demise of the eagerly-anticipated dessert tray being brought to your table with an array of different pretty empting items almost every time. You could try tortes that aren't normally available by the slice. Now there's a set dessert menu, a a a slice cake but you can still choose something tempting ses ups front for a small upcharge. For the first time in a VERY long time, I was able to get the Chocolate Glacier Torte...a slice of heaven!

Andre's is the best. Seeing the pastries behind the glass upon entry always gets my blood flowing. I love to shop around and ask what's what and the staff is always so helpful in answering my questions. I felt European on my most recent stop for an afternoon piece of cake with coffee. It was perfect. I was so late that most of the pastries were sold out but that made it easier for me to choose. It was about 4 p.m. and my wife and son almost had the place to ourselves for a quiet cup of coffee. On other visits I've had the premade sandwiches that have always been good. The chocolates are delicious and then one of the best items is the white cake. They usually have a few small white chocolate covered pieces of white cake that can be good for one person. It's always a good choice to buy a white buttercream cake from Andre's for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

Original owners were from Switzerland, and were true Swiss chocolatiers. 68 years later, the family still owns the business, and it is now in the hands of the fourth-generation descendants. So they know what they are doing! We stayed for a while to visit in their lovely tea room, and I enjoyed an exceptional latte.

André is still our favorite after decades of being here! The consistency of quality and taste are amazing! Besides the pastries, love the quiche! They make the best one

Went on a Friday afternoon to celebrate our friend's birthday and while it was busy, service was great for our lunch, and we didn't have to wait long before we were seated and served. The foods I had were absolutely delicious! So many choices for desserts, I'm a bit surprised at myself for not buying any others on the way out. ;) The venue itself is nice; I prefer it over the one in Overland Park, only in that it seems larger and I like all the wood furniture and art upon entry into the tea room. It doesn't seem cramped with tables at all.
